The newly established Computer Lab marks an important step in strengthening digital learning and computer-based education at MIHS. The facility is designed to provide students with practical computer skills that are essential for academic study, professional development, and the modern workplace.

In addition to supporting students enrolled at MIHS, the Computer Lab will serve as a computer training centre, offering specialized courses to students, professionals, and members of the wider community.

The training programmes will include Certificate in Computer Packages, Diploma in Cyber Security, and specialized software training in applications such as SPSS and QuickBooks. These programmes are intended to equip learners with practical and market-relevant digital skills.

The training centre will be supported by qualified instructors with Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science, providing learners with professional guidance and practical training.

The newly launched library will complement the computer facility by providing students with access to educational and reference materials to support their studies, research, and independent learning.

Speaking about the development, MIHS emphasized its commitment to providing students with an education that combines academic knowledge, practical skills, and access to modern learning resources.

The launch of the Computer Lab and Library represents another milestone in MIHS’s commitment to expanding access to quality education and developing a digitally capable workforce in South Sudan.
