Welcome to Meridian Institute of Health Sciences (MIHS). At MIHS, we believe that quality health professions education is essential to building a healthier South Sudan. Our purpose is to nurture competent, compassionate, and ethical professionals who can respond to the health needs of their communities and contribute to strengthening our health system. We want our students to develop the confidence to practice responsibly, the curiosity to keep learning, and the commitment to serve others with integrity and respect. We recognize that meaningful education extends beyond the classroom. Through practical training, mentorship, research, and community engagement, we seek to connect learning with the realities of healthcare delivery and prepare graduates to make a positive difference wherever they serve. As we work towards becoming Meridian University College, our growth will remain guided by academic excellence, research, innovation, ethical leadership, and community service. We aim to build an institution that responds to local needs while embracing broader opportunities for learning and collaboration.
